Freebie Friday #13: Free seminary courses on iTunes

Free seminary courses on iTunesCovenant Theological Seminary has really gone out of their way to make their courses available online for free. I love it! Although I graduated from a different seminary a couple years ago, I consumed so much information all at once that it’s nice to relax now and listen to these class lectures at my leisure. I can take the information I want and skip what I don’t want — all of the training with none of the responsibility or expense. Woo hoo! I’ve already listened through most of the Youth Ministry course. Good stuff there. Might try out the Christian Worship course next.

I love that they’ve also made all their course materials available for download, too, including lecture transcripts, study guides, handouts and everything. To download these courses for free, visit their website at http://www.covenantseminary.edu/worldwide/.

Here’s a list of the courses available:

  • Ancient & Medieval Church History
  • Apologetics & Outreach
  • Biblical Theology
  • Calvin’s Institutes
  • Christ-Centered Preaching: Preparation and Delivery of Sermons
  • Christian Ethics
  • Christian Worship
  • Francis A. Schaeffer: The Early Years
  • Francis A. Schaeffer: The Later Years
  • God & His Word
  • God’s World Mission
  • Hebrews to Revelation
  • Humanity, Christ & Redemption
  • Life & Letters of Paul
  • Life & Teachings of Jesus
  • New Testament History
  • Old Testament History
  • Psalms & Wisdom Books
  • Reformation & Modern Church History
  • Spirit, Church, & Last Things
  • Youth Ministry

CONTRIBUTE TO FREEBIE FRIDAY: If you’ve benefited from others who have freely shared their youth ministry resources online, consider giving back to the community by sharing your own materials here. Send me your donations for review and if I publish them in a Freebie Friday, you’ll receive full credit, a link, lots of gratitude and a warm feeling inside that comes from sharing with others.
