Didn’t go out last night
So while I was at the church yesterday Nicole sent me a text message saying that she was gonna have to stay at work for about an hour later, which was fine because I was gonna go work out anyway. We just decided that I would call her when I was finished and figure out where to meet up. Well, I called her and got her voicemail so I just started heading south in that general direction. Called her again and still no answer, so I just kept heading south. Finally I arrived at the last exit I could take to turn around and head home before going in the complete opposite direction and still no answer. Not knowing if she was just gonna work until close or what, I decided at that point just to head home. After dinner I got a text message saying that three other employees didn’t show up and she had to stay at work much later. Although she was very apologetic, I was still pretty disappointed. I get all excited about seeing her and then there’s the huge let-down at the end.
We talked on the phone for a little while when she finally got home, but by that time it was too late to really do anything. The plan now is to try again sometime next week. However, I’ll be away for David’s wedding for half the week and then I’ll be gone on the missions trip for another whole week. Guess it’s my turn to be the difficult one, huh? Hopefully something will work out soon, though.
Then last night Dana totally freaked out on me. She called 14 times (I didn’t answer) and was like spamming me on AIM trying to talk with me. Ugh… what a mess. Doesn’t seem like much is changing about her. She still seems to be the emotionally high-maintence mood-swings kinda person. But at least I got to ask her not to come to the wedding, which she agreed to. That way I can just focus on having a good time with the family and celebrating with David and Adrienne and not be distracted by Dana.
